STARBOARD – Nettie T. Pettegrow, 69, passed away unexpectedly Feb. 28, 2007, at her home. She was born April 11, 1937, in Lubec, the daughter of the late Owen and Mary (Campbell) Taylor. Mrs. Pettegrow attended and graduated from the Lubec educational system. Up until her death, she was actively involved in the Pettegrow Boatyard, Starboard, with her son, Richard Jr.; and daughter, Lisa. Her main enjoyments in life were her grandchildren and gardening. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Richard S. Pettegrow Sr., in 2005; and by a daughter, Julie Moody, in 2002. Family members include a daughter, Lisa Berg and fiance, Paul Holmes, of Bucks Harbor; a son, Richard S. Pettegrow Jr. and wife, Samantha, of Perry; and grandchildren, Shaun, Richie, Jessica, Riley, Gabryelle, Kelsey, Ryan and Bryttani. She is also survived by many special friends.
