NORTHEAST HARBOR – Nicholas Edward Hamor, 18, died Nov. 3, 2003, in Mount Desert. He was born May 8, 1985, in Bar Harbor, the son of Edward Scott Hamor and Molly Katherine (Butler) MacDonald. Nick enjoyed cooking. He worked at two local restaurants, 151 Main Street, Northeast Harbor and The Bar Harbor Inn. He also worked at North Atlantic Seafood in Stonington and the Brooke Astor Estate in Northeast Harbor. He is survived by his father, E. Scott Hamor and wife, Kimberly of Eastbrook and his mother, Molly K. MacDonald of Stonington; three brothers, William “Willie” S. Hamor of Eastbrook and Trevor and Ryan Reilly of Augusta; one sister, Trisha N. Hamor of Eastbrook; paternal grandparents, Steven and Patricia Hamor Sr. of Northeast Harbor; maternal grandmother, Agnes Butler of Seal Cove and grandparents, Gene and Dorothy Wyman of Liberty; many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends all around Hancock County. Nick was predeceased by the following grandparents and great-grandparents, Harland S. Butler, Beatrice Black, Edward Black, Rhoda Hamor and Richard Hamor Sr. Friends are invited to call 5:30-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at Fernald Funeral Chapel, 1139 Main St., Mount Desert where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. William M. Bigelow Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hills Cemetery, Northeast Harbor. Contributions in Nick’s memory may be made to the Nicholas E.
