WOODLAND – Nicole Dawn Philbrook, 21, died unexpectedly June 30, 2005, at Caribou, the result of an automobile accident. She was born July 9, 1983, in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of Merle and Deborah (Doody) Philbrook Jr. Nicole was a graduate of Caribou High School. Surviving in addition to her mother, Deborah Philbrook and her stepdad, Mike Martin, are her daughter, Kiona Philbrook, all of Woodland; one brother, Eric Philbrook of Woodland; her grandparents, Frank Doody of Woodland and Merle and Yvonne Philbrook Sr. of Florida; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Nicole was predeceased by her father, Merle, in 1987; and her grandmother, Gloria Doody, in 2003. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Saturday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 2005, from the chapel of the funeral home, with the Rev. Roger Jewell, officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Friends who wish to contribute in Nicole’s memory may do so through an educational fund to be established for her daughter Kiona, care of the Mockler Funeral Home or the family.
