BEALS – Nikita M. Kelley, 37, died unexpectedly at her home on Beals, Feb. 7, 2004. She was born Nov. 25, 1966, at Ellsworth, the daughter of Gus and Mary Engberg. She graduated from the Machias High School in 1985, and received her LPN from EMVTC in Bangor in 1990, and worked at several local nursing homes. She is survived by her husband, Randy Kelley of Beals; four children, Katie Albee and Joshua Albee, both of East Machias, James Kelley of Beals, and Justin Kelley of Ormond Beach, Fla.; her “adoptive” parents, Bernard and Shirley Bridges of Verona Island; a special sister, Mary Beth Smith of California; several other half brothers and sisters; a special niece, Carol Bradley; several other nieces and nephews; many foster brothers and sisters. She will also be remembered by many including her former husband, Joey Albee of East Machias; and a very special friend, Bridget Beal of Addison. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, at the Church of the Lamb of God, Jonesport, with Elder Dale Smith and Elder Dwight Carver officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Health and Counseling, Children’s Services, P.O. Box 457, Machias, ME 04654.
