HOULTON – Nina K. Berry, 92, died March 6, 2006, at a local hospital. She was born Jan. 4, 1914, at Houlton, the daughter of Arthur S. and Eva (Whittier) Kitchen. Nina was a life-long resident of Houlton. She worked for the Houlton Water Company and then SAD No. 29, until her retirement. Nina is survived by a sister, May St.C. Severson of Houlton and New Limerick; a brother-in-law, Justice James P. Archibald of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; nephews, James K. Archibald of Montreal, Quebec, Canada and Gary A. Severson of Houlton; niece, Susan Kluge of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; stepson, Charles Berry of Bellevue, Wash.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles B. Berry; sister, Leta Kitchen Archibald; and stepdaughter, Connie Berry. At Nina’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral. Those who wish to make donations may make them to the Unitarian Church in Houlton or Houlton Health Service Foundation, for equipment for physical and occupational therapy in the Progressive Care Facility, at Houlton Regional Hospital, care of Dunn Funeral Home, P.O.
