BANGOR – Nina M. Dalton, 81, died April 18, 2006, at a Bangor hospital after a short illness. Mom grew up in Burlington, Vt. and attended Burlington High School and graduated from Fannie Allen Nursing School. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, James J. Dalton. She is survived by two sons, David J. Dalton of Worcester, Mass. and Mark J. Dalton of Bangor; and a sister, Ina Veilleux of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Her sons would like to thank two special friends of mom’s, Teresa Brown of Brewer and Doris Leighton of Bangor, for all they did for mom during her illness. At mom’s request there will be no visiting hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, Bangor, with the Rev. Richard McLaughlin, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations in mom’s memory may be made to All Saints Catholic School, 166 State St., Bangor, ME 04401.
