DETROIT – Norene L. Newenham, 63, died unexpectedly Feb. 20, 2005, at a Bangor hospital following a period of ill health. She was born May 17, 1941, in Portland, the daughter of Raymond I. and Lillian L. (Hamilton) Grace. She was educated in Portland schools and attended Portland High School. Norene was a homemaker and loved raising and taking care of her family. She enjoyed crocheting and caring for her cats “Pandy” and “Oddball”. She is survived by two children, her son and his wife, Robert W. and Susan Beal Jr. of Biddeford; her daughter and her husband, Mary and Ernest Crocker of Detroit; four grandchildren, Jessica, Tabitha, Adam, and Maria; four great-grandchildren, Kendra, Ruthann, E.J., and Dwayne.
