DEER ISLE and BLUE HILL Norina “Norma” McVay died peacefully Nov. 11, 2006, at a local nursing facility with her family at her side. She was born Aug. 28, 1921, in Barrington, R.I., the daughter of Edith J. (Bicknell) and Vorris Bouffard. She is survived by her daughters, Edie King and husband, Louis, of Waterville, Jeanette Gray and husband, Darrell, of Blue Hill; sons, Norman McVay and wife, Suzanne, of Hampden, Raymond McVay and wife, Jane, of Sedgwick and Bryan McVay and wife, Sally, of Brooksville; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister, Anna E. Beaudoin of Middleburg, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert; sister, Doris DelSesto; and an infant son. Calling hours will be held 11 a.m.-noon Thursday, Nov. 16, with a memorial service held noon at Jordan-Fernald, 141 South St., Blue Hill. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery, Blue Hill.
