CAMP SPRINGS, Md. Norine Estabrooke Lent died March 21, 2007. She was born July 2, 1924, in Island Falls, to Horace R. Estabrooke and Doris Russ. She studied nursing at Madigan Memorial Hospital prior to her marriage Feb. 5, 1943, to Edward W. Lent Jr., lieutenant colonel retired. Her husband of 55 years predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Smith; and her son, Edward W. Lent III and his wife, Teresa, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Harry O. and Eleanor Lent of Rockport, Robert I. and Muriel Lent of Milford N.H.; and Betty and John T. Lent of Millinocket; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Viewing was March 24, at Lee Funeral Home, Clinton, Md., with internment at Arlington National Cemetery.
