NEWPORT – Norma F. Houston, 79, died Nov. 16, 2006. She was born Sept. 7, 1927, in Plymouth, a daughter of Raymond and Frances (Bragg) Houston. She attended the Ridge Road School, Plymouth, and worked at Snowflake Canning Co., Corinna, until it was destroyed by fire. She retired in 1992 from the Edwards Co., Pittsfield. Norma was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Newport. A graveside funeral and committal service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Sawyer Cemetery, Plymouth, with Pastor George Finnemore officiating.
