ISLAND FALLS – Norman Lacharite, 69, died Jan. 25, 2008, at his home. He was born July 19, 1938, in Montville, Conn. Norman was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during Vietnam. He is survived by three children, Bernard Goodall and his companion, Lynn Russell, of Island Falls, Norman LaCharite and his companion, Lee-Anna VanBruchen, of Island Falls and Norma and her husband, Chris Cummings, of Stacyville; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one brother. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty, Dec. 5, 2007; a stepson, Roger LeRoy Goodall; and one grandson, Scott Cummings. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Bethel Pentecostal Church, Oakfield, with Pastor Sterling Lawrence officiating. Spring interment will be at Island Falls Cemetery.
