FORT KENT – Normand H. Ouellette, 79, died March 20, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Oct. 7, 1925, in Wallagrass, the son of Honore and Jane (Corriveau) Ouellette. Normand was a member of the VFW Lozier O’Grady Post No. 9609 and 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus Council No. 1934 in Fort Kent. He is also a member of the D.A.V. He was a very devoted Catholic. He loved the outdoors, playing cards, being with friends and especially with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Dubois) Ouellette of Fort Kent; three daughters and their husbands, Norma and Dick Voisine of Fort Kent, Gloria Gagnon and fianc?, Gary, of Wallagrass, Nola and Francis McLaughlin of Unionville, Conn.; two sons, Gary and Marie Ouellette of Burlington, Conn., Dana and Tina Ouellette of Saco; two sisters, Lea Theriault of Fort Kent, Julienne Caron of Bangor; four brothers, Lucien Ouellette and Albrien Ouellette of Fort Kent, Julien Ouellette of New Britian, Conn., Roland Ouellette of California; nine grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Adrien. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent and 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial with full military and 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus honors will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Soldier Pond with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Spring burial will be in the parish cemetery May 16, 2005. Those who wish may donate in his memory to the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, NMMC, 194 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
