HOULTON – Ola D. Belyea, 77, went home to be with her Lord, “Jesus Christ” Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, at a Portland hospital. She was born Dec. 12, 1927, at Houlton, the daughter of George Esben and Reta J. (Prosser) Gentle. Ola was a member of the New Limerick Baptist Church. Her greatest joy in life was being around her family and her home. She is survived by two daughters, Luanne Tuttle and her husband, David, of New Limerick, Bonita Tidd and her husband, Brian, of Hodgdon; three grandsons, Stacy Tidd, Marc Tidd, Kevin Tuttle and his wife, Tabetha; eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Alecia Hogan and her husband, Jack, of Houlton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul A. Belyea; two brothers, Paul E. Gentle Sr. and George “Bodie” Gentle Jr. Friends may call 12 noon until the time of the service at 2 p.m. Thursday at the New Limerick Baptist Church with the Rev. Steven Straubel officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family request donations be made in Ola’s memory to the Chair Fund at the New Limerick Baptist Church, care of the Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park St., Houlton.
