SHERMAN STATION – Olive Davenport, 78, died on Jan 12, 2004, at Houlton. She was born on May 18, 1925, in Benedicta, the daughter of Joseph and Elva (Casey) Seile. She was a member of the St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. She is survived by her five children, Roland and his wife, Jackie, of Sherman Station, Georgine and her husband, Robert Adams, of Kennebunk, Charles Davenport of Sherman, Dwain Davenport of Medway, and Joan and her husband, Michael Duffy, of Benedicta; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; tow brothers, Edward Seile of Houlton, George Seile of Lee, Mass.; five sisters, Dorothy Davenport of Brunswick, Fran Denbicki of St. Petersburg, Fla., Joanne Sinclair of Florida, Lorraine Davenport of St. Petersburg, Fla., Caroline Verostick of Hoptkington, Mass.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, George; three sisters and two brothers. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Benedict’s Catholic Church with Father Pare celebrant. Spring interment will be in the Sherman Station Cemetery.
