LEVANT – Olive M. (Robertson) Goodwin, 79, wife of Forest “Pat” Goodwin I, passed away early Monday morning, June 11, 2007, at home surrounded by her loving family. Olive was born June 9, 1928, in Blue Hill, a daughter of Elbert and Carrie (Williams) Robertson. She was raised in Blue Hill and after meeting the love of her life, she moved to Levant. Olive was a genuine person, known for her quick wit and sense of humor. She lived life to the fullest. She and Pat were inseparable, as you never saw one without the other. Olive loved her family and always put them first. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her husband, Pat, she is survived by a daughter, Gloria Munn and partner, Jim, of North Carolina; son, Brent Goodwin and wife, Terri, of Elkton, Md.; daughters, Roxane Gagnon and husband, Jimmy, Marjorie Thompson and husband, Darwin, Karen Gagnon and husband, Greg, all of Levant; sons, David Goodwin and wife, Cindy, of Argyle, N.Y., Larry Goodwin and wife, Donna, of Florida; three brothers, Raymond, Calvin and Joseph Robertson; one sister, Mona Goodwin; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Forest “Pat” Goodwin II, April 20, 1980. She never let a day go by without having him in her thoughts. She was also predeceased by two brothers and four sisters. A graveside service of remembrance will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Waugh Cemetery, Levant, led by Kevin Robinson, a friend of the family. Family and friends are invited to return to the family home on Wing Road, Levant, for a reception.
