DANFORTH – Olive M. Spinney, 81, wife of the late Clarence Spinney, died Nov. 30, 2004, at a Boston hospital. She was born March 29, 1923, in Livermore Falls the daughter of Albert and Madeline (Harding) Willett. Olive enjoyed woodworking, fishing and making wreaths at Christmas time. She is survived by two daughters, Jackie Shorey and her husband, Mike, of Houlton, and Judy Helms of Bossier, La.; three grandchildren, Katrina Lincecum of Shreveport, La., Timothy Shorey of Danforth and Rev. Christopher Helms of Pittsburgh, Pa.; five great-grandchildren, Kristi Malloy of Shreveport, La., Kaytlyn Helms, Emily Helms and Nathaniel Helms, all of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Noah Grant of Houlton; and a special adopted daughter, Marilyn Stoddard. She leaves behind three special friends, Amy Irish, Heather Haney and Casey Malone, all of Houlton. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Howard and Charles Howard. She leaves behind many special friends. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec 4, 2004, at the Clay Funeral Home- Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, at the Danforth Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Christopher Helms officiating. Interment will be in Danforth Cemetery.
