BANGOR – Oscar E. Pomeroy, 81, passed into the light of God Aug. 23, 2006. He was born April 16, 1925, in Hermon, the son of Oscar R. and Gladys Pomeroy. He was the last of his family and leaves behind four children, Linda and Bill of Bangor, Mike and Donna of Dixmont, Dorene and Peewee of Clifton and Tina and Tom of Dixmont; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Tim Tracy and his wife of Hermon. We want to thank East Side Rehab and Living Center for the care they gave our dad. Please join us in celebration of his life 2 p.m. Sunday at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor. Please no flowers, give them to people that are living. Friends and relatives are invited to Dorene Kingsbury’s home, 52 Thompson Court, Clifton, after the services at the funeral home.
