LINCOLN – Pamela Elizabeth McKay, 44, died March 26, 2008, at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 10, 1963, in Lincoln, the daughter of Phillip and Mary (Sturgeon) McKay. Pamela was very dedicated to her family and friends. She was an avid student, even through hard times. She recently graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta, receiving her bachelor’s degree in mental health and human services. In addition to her parents, Phillip and Mary McKay of Lincoln, she is survived by three children, Jesse Lowell, Cassandra Joy Lowell and Travis Lowell, all of Lee; two sisters, Lynn Steilow of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Debra McKay of Lee; two brothers, Phillip McKay and his wife, Lori, and Daniel McKay and his wife, Kelly, all of Macwahoc; nieces and nephews, Letetia Page, Kellie Steilow, Chase Page, Kaci Steilow, Tyler McKay and Ryan McKay; a special aunt, Priscilla Bard; and uncle, Gilbert McKay. She also leaves her companion, Mark Murchison of Lincoln. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Graveside services will be held later in the spring at Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society-Relay for Life.
