PERRY – Leroy William Price, 72, of Perry, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. Leroy was born Dec. 30, 1931, in Eastport. He was a Pentecostal minister for many years, with his won church in the Perry and Lubec areas. Leroy also worked in claming. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church on Campobello Island, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and traveling. Leroy was predeceased by his mother, Ruth Moore; his first wife, Viola (Brown) Price; a brother, Paul Price; and a sister, Maxine Farmer. Surviving are his wife, Marion (Cook) Price; two sons, Seymore Price and his fianc_e, Roseanne Conley, of Eastport, and David Price and his wife, Stephanie, of Fryeburg; three daughters, Linda Nieves and her husband, Pedro, of Gorham, Marlene Dyer and her companion, John Giles, of Guilford, and Cathy Berthiaune and her husband, Rick, of Sanford; three stepsons, Skip Calder of Perry, Howard Calder and his wife, Lisa, of Pembroke, and Duke Calder of Perry; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Christian Temple Church in Lubec, with the Rev. Todd McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in Lubec.
