PLYMOUTH – Patricia A. (Pease) Hanson, 75, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at a Bangor hospital after complications related to open heart surgery. She was born July 11, 1930, the daughter of Merrick A. Pease and Hazel M. (Noyes) Pease of Kingston, Mass. She was a resident of Plymouth, since 1991 and had been a long time resident of Framingham, Mass. During her life she was known for her overwhelming generosity and compassion for others. She was involved in many charities and causes both locally and nationally, to help those who were less fortunate than she. Some of her favorite hobbies included cooking, baking and numerous arts and crafts, which she frequently donated to local organizations. She also had a lifelong commitment to learning and upon her death, she chose to donate her body to medical science so that others might learn. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth W. Hanson; a son, Paul W. Hanson, both of Framingham, Mass.; her sister, Helen Clausen of Framingham, Mass.; as well as her grandson, Carl N. Hanson of Ossipee, N.H. She is survived by her sons, Peter A. Hanson and wife, Jeanette, of Ossipee, N.H, Kenneth N. Hanson and wife, Jennifer, of Plymouth, Richard G. Hanson and his wife, Jacquelyn and their daughter, Zoe, also of Plymouth. She is also survived by her son Paul’s two children, Eva and Jarod Hanson of Cape Cod, Mass.; her sisters, Barbara Costa of Kingston, Mass., Nancy Campbell of Framingham, Mass. and Doris Garnett of Plymouth, N.H.; her aunt, Natalie Anderson of Franklin, Mass.; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Detroit Snowmobile Club, Route 220, Detroit. There will be a reception immediately following this service for those who wish to stay. There will be no funeral home visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations in her honor to the charity of your choice.
