OLD TOWN – Patricia A. Parent, 69, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family March 31, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Feb. 27, 1936, in Old Town, a daughter of Francis Leroy and Rose Yvonne (Lavoie) Lacadie. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, camping, watching cooking shows, Sunday drives and dining out. She loved her crystal collection and bird watching. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 48 years, Roger Parent; three sons, Roger and his wife, Rachel, Michael, and Keith; all of Old Town; a daughter, Lea and her husband, Tony, of China; six grandchildren, Tara, Korey, Chelsea, Andrew, Alisha, and Brooke; a great-grandchild, Dakota; four sisters, Dorothy Boucher and her husband, George, Germaine Nadeau, Lorraine Tidwell, all of Old Town, Norma Jean “Jeannie” Pettorossi of New York; a brother, Harold Lacadie and his wife, Dawn, of Old Town; sister-in-law, Marjorie Lacadie of Milford; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Francis; mother, Rose; and stepfather, Dedus LeBlanc; and a brother, Richard Lacadie. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, at Holy Family Parish, Old Town, with the Rev. Normand Richard, celebrant. Immediately following the service all are invited to the Parish Center for a light luncheon and continued fellowship. Spring interment will be at Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town.
