SQUA PAN – Patricia Howlett, 72, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at a Lewiston nursing home. She was born Nov. 5, 1934, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Charles Putman Sr. and Gladys (Mullen) Bushey. Patricia worked at Converse Shoe for many years as a stitcher and then McCains and Walmart, where she was as an associate. She is survived by a daughter, Carla Carmichael and her husband, Arthur, of Lewiston; a son, Daniel and his wife, Lori, of Augusta; four grandchildren, Dawn Hopkins, Melissa Warren, A.J. Carmichael and Aarika Howlett; one great-grandchild; four brothers, Charles Jr. of Mapleton, Donald of Presque Isle, Joseph of Caribou and Russell of Whitingsville, Mass.; a sister, Priscilla Fitzherbert of Presque Isle; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Howlett; and a granddaughter, Jessica Howlett. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., with the Rev. Wayne Doiron officiating. Friends may call 1 p.m. until time of service.
