BRUNSWICK – Patricia L. Prince died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at Mid Coast Hospital with her family at her side. She was born Jan. 7, 1929, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of John and Alice Behlmair Wilbert. She attended Buffalo schools and graduated with honors from Fosdick-Masten High School in 1946. After graduating, she worked a number of jobs, including Marine Midland Bank and Oldman Boiler Works. She married John “Jack” E. Prince on May 4, 1957, and spent the next 20 years raising their family and traveling the country before settling in Brunswick when Jack retired from the navy in 1978. Pat had many interests in her life. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and all types of games. She especially enjoyed crossword puzzles. She loved all animals and would pass out treats to the neighborhood dogs and cats. She was very active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association Unit 156 where she held a number of offices over the past 25 years. Her greatest love however, was her family, especially her six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Retired Master Chief John “Jack” E. Prince, in 2000. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael Prince and Katinka Hofgaard, of Bergen, Norway; a daughter, Rosalind Prince of Bangor; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lorraine and R. Michael White, of Hampden, and Shelley and Steven Tebbutt, of Brunswick; six grandchildren, John White, Abigail White, Daniel Prince, Sara Linn Prince, Samuel Tebbutt and Eva Tebbutt; a sister, Mary Jane Wagner of Cheektowaga, N.Y.; an aunt, Dorothy Hoffman of Silver Creek, N.Y., and many good friends. Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. at the United Methodist Church, Church Road, Brunswick with the Rev. Ralph Miller officiating. Interment will be in Growstown Cemetery.
