BUCKSPORT – Patricia “Patsy” Ann Atwood, 59, died Nov. 11, 2005, peacefully at a Bangor nursing facility. She was born April 17, 1946, in Glen Ridge, N.J., the daughter of Marshall E. and Ruth I. Gray. Patsy attended the Bucksport schools and was member of the East Bucksport United Methodist Church and the Bucksport Senior Citizens, where she loved helping out with the dinners. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, baking and collecting teddy bears. Patsy is survived by her mother, Ruth I. Gray; one daughter, Sherry L. Ramsay; granddaughter, Katrina Gray Ramsay; and grandson, Ian A. Ramsay; several aunts, uncles, and cousins including, Scott Fuller, Kevin Fuller, Vicky Ward, Shawn Porter and his wife, Sandy, Keith Kelley and his wife, Stacey and Gail VanWart; she will also be remember by many friends, including special friends, Gloria Ashey, Karen Hatch, Edwina Layton, Phyllis Rankin, Mabelle Gray and Brenda Hackney. She was predeceased by father, Marshall E. Gray and her husband, Burr V. Atwood Jr. Visiting hours for family and friends will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, at the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the East Bucksport United Methodist Church, with Pastor Peter Remick officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Bucksport.
