MATTAWAMKEAG – Paul A. Arnold, 91, beloved husband of Deloris (Price) Arnold, died March 28, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 23, 1912, in Penniac, New Brunswick, the son of Alfonso and Nina Ann (Moore) Arnold. Paul came to the United States as a teenager and spent most of his career at Forster Mfg. Co., Inc., retiring in 1977. He was a generous and giving person, was an avid outdoorsman and a Yankee fan. He loved his garden. In addition to his wife, Deloris, he is survived by two children, Mary Lou Moore of Presque Isle, and Raymond Moore of Tampa, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Gilbert Arnold, Jay Arnold, Darcy Arnold, Jana Card, Alison Butler, Althea Davis, Shawna Moore and Anthony Moore; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Pat (Edith) Arnold; two sons, Paul Jr. and Gilbert I.; and a daughter, Nina Ann. Friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee, Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at the funeral home, with the Rev.
