ROCK HILL, S.C. – Paul Burton Cote, 71, died Thursday Aug 11, 2005, at his home. Paul was a native of Limestone, and the son of the late Reuben and Annette (Cyr) Cote. Mr. Cote was a member of Saint Anne’s Catholic Church. He retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 1989. Mr. Cote served in the U.S. Air Force and the Naval Air Reserves. He volunteered at Piedmont Medical Center Emergency department and Hope Inc. Mr. Cote chaired the board of Children’s Attention Home in the mid 1980’s. He was a foster parent of DSS for 26 years. Mr. Cote is survived by his wife, Theresa Legeai Cote; his sons, Eric Cote of Richmond, Va., Patrick Cote of Rock Hill, S.C. and Philippe Cote of Columbia, S.C.; his daughters, Beatrice Cote of Charlotte, N.C., Valerie Cote of Chapin, S.C. and Nathalie Cote of Fort Mill, S.C.; his foster daughters, Wendy Lovin of Chester, S.C. and Marissa Musche of Ballston Spa, N.Y.; brothers, Hap Cote of Caribou and Nathan Cote of Los Cruces, N.M.; his sisters, Doe Cote of Charleston, S.C. and Cheryl Turo of Cartersville, Ga.; and seven grandchildren.
