MILLINOCKET and LINCOLN Paul Chudio, 59, went peacefully to be with the Lord, Oct. 8, 2006. He was born Aug. 1, 1947, in Detroit, Mich., the son of Florence (Haines) and the late John Chudio. Paul enjoyed many sports and was always an avid Detroit fan. Paul loved to come home to Millinocket to be with his mother, family and friends, and always looked forward to some of his mother’s cooking. He enjoyed his vacations at Pleasant Pond in Island Falls. Paul loved children and was always excited to spend time with Michaela and Michael, when they came up from New York and always made time to play a game with great-niece, Ashley and great-nephew, Aaron. He was very fond of the pets he shared with everyone, especially his dog, Molly. He will be greatly missed by his beloved mother; one sister, Cheryl and her husband, Morris “Skip” Fitzgerald, of Hampden; a special uncle, Clinton Haines; many aunts, several close cousins; nephews, Michael and his wife, Dawn and Branden and his wife, Beth. He leaves behind his close friends from Lakeview, Vernon, Debbie, Taylor and Justin; and his special friends, Beth “Sunshine” and Bunny. He was predeceased by his father; grandparents, Earl and Mary Dow; his uncle, Freddie Shtogrins; uncle, Bruno; aunt, Katherine Konponicki; aunt, Carol DeCorsey; uncle, Vernon Haines; and great-aunt, Annie Cusack. A memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Millinocket, with Fr. Joel Cyr, celebrant. Interment will be at Millinocket Cemetery.
