EASTPORT and WATERBORO – Paul Francis Arseneau, 35, of Eastport and Waterboro, went home to meet the Lord and live in eternal peace on Dec. 21, 2004. Paul entered this world Oct. 9, 1969, in Lincoln. Paul grew up in Eastport and attended the Eastport schools. He worked for many years in the area where he enjoyed scalloping, the outdoors, and trucking jobs. He was most recently employed at Westpoint Stevens in Biddeford. He loved God, his family and friends and they loved him as much. The greatest moment in his life was the birth of his son Deven Paul on Sept. 29, 2003. His fianc?e and the mother of his son, Alycia Clark also held a very special place in his heart now and for eternity. He spent the last year of his life devoted to his mother praying for the “miracle” as she is battling terminal cancer. His faith led him to believe in such miracles. He had a number of special friends whom he held dear throughout his life including his long time friend Gary Small. In addition to the love and devotion he had for his family he enjoyed listening to music and hanging out with friends. He also had a kind and gentle heart for animals and enjoyed having pets. Paul was predeceased by his father, Henry Grant. Surviving are his parents, Patricia and Edward Hanson of Eastport; a son, Deven Paul; his fianc?e, Alycia Clark of Waterboro and Eastport; a brother, Donald Arseneau of Parsonsfield and his wife, Dianne and family (Shannon, Jeromi, Tandra and Rob Tracy); two sisters, Donna Stuart and her husband, Timothy, of Clifton, and Roseanne Conley and her fianc?, Lee Price, of Eastport; three nieces, Amanda Walter, Shae’le Walter and Brianna Conley; and a nephew, Joshua Walter of Eastport; all whom he adored and they him. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Dec. 28, 2004, at Flagg Funeral Home, 72 High St., Eastport. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Dec. 29, 2004, at Flagg Funeral Home with Pastor Cad Smith of Perry, officiating. Pallbearers are Chris Cook, John Surles, Aaron Surles, Gardner Cookson, Keith Turner, and Frankie Belloti. The burial will be scheduled for the spring at Hillside Cemetery in Eastport.
