CALAIS – Norma M. Peakall, 72, died unexpectedly Dec. 26, 2004, at her daughters home in East Machias. She was born Dec. 2, 1932, in St. Stephen, N.B., Canada, the daughter of William and Mina (Kelley) Lowther. She was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Roland, in 1985. Norma was a member of the United Methodist Church of Calais. Surviving are four daughters, Linda Howe and her husband, Norman, of Cathance Lake, Cooper, Shirley Finch and her husband, Raymond, of Fairborn, Ohio, Donna Townsend and her husband, Gregory, of Owego, N.Y., Lori Peakall-Cote and her husband, Mark, of East Machias; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Lay Minister Cheryl Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Calais Cemetery.
