BROOKS – Paul Nelson Brown, 60, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, at a local healthcare facility. He was born Feb. 13, 1945, in Prospect, the son of Elden and Arlene (Lyford) Brown. He worked as a farmer and woodsman. Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting eagles. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Raymond, Gerald, Roger and Bucky Brown; his sister, Norma Elwell; and a nephew, Elden Doughty. Paul is survived by his wife, Eve Brown, of Brooks; three children, Tiffany Brown, Emmy Jo Parquette and Desirea Holmes; a brother, Alden Brown; sisters, Marion Hood and Marilyn Bridges; four grandchildren, Charlie, Sierra, Destiny and Mikaula; three sons-in-law, Matt Berry, Scott Parquette, and James Holmes; and special friends, Clifford Elwell, William Sullivan and Frank Brown II, Scott Philbrook, Marty Ashworth and Tony Runci and many nieces and nephews who he loved very much. A viewing will be held noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, with a funeral service 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ken Davenport officiating.
