SPRINGFIELD – Paul O. Sutherland, 68, died June 13, 2004, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born April 23, 1936, in Lakeville, the son of Ovid and Beulah (Davis) Sutherland. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, country music and Nascar. He especially enjoyed his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Juanita (Downs) Sutherland of Springfield; his mother, Beulah Fenlason of Carroll; a son, Scott Sutherland and his wife, Annmarie, of New York; two daughters, Lorna Pucillo and her husband, Edward, of Connecticut, and Felicia Latham and her husband, Eric, of Connecticut; three brothers, Robert Sutherland of Carroll, Roland Sutherland of North Carolina, and Thomas Sutherland of Lincoln; two sisters, Hannah Glidden of Prentiss, and Marion Coburn of Lincoln; five grandchildren, Branden, Timothy, Daniel, David and Jessica; two granddogs, Bailey and Zoe and one grandcat, Jeter; several nieces and nephews. He also leaves a close friend, Wendell Worster. He was predeceased by his father, Ovid; three brothers, Wendall, Randy and Ollie; one sister, Geraldine Worster; and his stepfather, Lester Fenlason. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Lowell-Moores Cemetery, in South Carroll, with the Rev. Bruce Swan officiating.
