PAUL V. MARTIN FRANKFORT – Paul V. Martin, 59, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, while fishing from Mat-unuck Point, R.I. Paul was born May 3, 1948, in Bangor, son of the late Paul A. and Mary I. (Richmond) Martin. Paul was an avid outdoorsman who had a passion for fishing and hunting. He spent time in Alaska, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. He attended Hampden Academy, served in Germany and Korea during the Vietnam era and was a member of Searsport Full Gospel Church. He was an accomplished mason by trade. He is survived by his son, Matthew Martin and his wife, Natalia, of Russia; sisters, Irene “Tina” Myers and her partner, John Thompson, of Searsport, Murial Martin of Joshua Tree, Calif., Dorothy Golder and her husband, Robert, of Portland and Patricia Rossi of Cherryfield; and a brother, Chester Martin and his wife, Pamela, of Frankfort. Paul has several aunts, nieces, nephews and many friends from all over this country and beyond. He will never be forgotten and missed by all. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at Young’s Funeral Home, 31 West Main St., Searsport, under direction of Pastor Cliff Gall. There will also be a reception after the service at Searsport Full Gospel Church.
