BANGOR – Paula L. (Trott) Withee, died Jan. 21, 2006, at a Bangor hospital surrounded by her loving family. Paula was born Dec. 5, 1947, in Castine, the daughter of Stanley and Barbara (Moore) Trott. She graduated from Bucksport High School and Eastern Academy of Beauty Culture. Later she obtained her CNA license and enjoyed working with the elderly. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church of Brewer. She will be remembered for her kindness, her wonderful sense of humor and love of children and animals. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Trott of Hampden; her daughter, Shelly and her husband, Michael Shaw, of Old Town; two grandsons, Curtis McNeely of Bangor and Christopher McNeely of Old Town; one granddaughter, Jessica Lynette Shaw of Old Town; one sister, Michelle and her husband, Allan Tubbs, of Orrington; one nephew, Jeremy Weirich of Silver Springs, Md.; a niece, Danielle Weirich of Ellsworth; and special friends; Holly, Matthew and Crystal Demchack of Orrington; and Sister Brenda Overlock of Levant. She was predeceased by her father, Stanley Trott. A graveside service will be held in the spring.
