SEARSPORT – Paulette (Barnett) Buttle, 59, formerly of Pelham, N.H. but now a resident of Searsport, died Thursday evening Oct. 27, 2005, at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of Kenneth F. Buttle of Searsport, who survives her and with whom she celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary March 3, 2005. She was born April 25, 1946, in Heber Springs, Ark., the daughter of the late Rex O’Dell and the late Geneva (Cook) Barnett. She graduated from Bolsa Grande High School in Garden Grove, Calif., Class of 1964. She went on to graduate from Santa Anna Junior College in 1970. Mrs. Buttle worked as a claims approver for the John Hancock Insurance Company. She previously worked in human resources for Sanders Inc. in Nashua, N.H. She was a Pelham Little League Manager and a member of the Pelham Boosters. Mrs. Buttle enjoyed birdwatching, painting and gardening. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Karen R. Raymond of Londonderry, N.H. and Darlene E. Buttle of Pelham, N.H.; a son, Jason S. Buttle and his wife, Allison, of Londonderry, N.H.; a grandson, Tyler Raymond of Londonderry, N.H.; a sister, Janice I. Awalt of Heber Springs, Ark.; a brother, Calvin Barnett and his wife, Jackie, of Battle Ground, Wash.; a niece, Julie Beller of Seattle, Wash.; and Mrs. Buttle’s beloved dog, “Duke”. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday, at the Young Funeral Home, 31 West Main St., Searsport. Graveside Services 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the Elmwood Cemetery Searsport.
