PRESQUE ISLE – Pauline A. Lee, 79, died March 4, 2006, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born Sept. 17, 1926, in Presque Isle, the daughter of William Sr. and Maria (Bragdon) Weaver. Pauline was a member of the Sunshine Club, helping to provide rooms for the Shriners Hospital. She also received her general equivalency diploma, working hard for it taking classes at the University of Maine. Pauline had a true passion for helping others in anyway she could, always putting others before herself. She enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and kayaking. She is survived by her husband, Edward Lee of Presque Isle; two sons, Mike Carmichael of Pomona, Calif., Roger Carmichael and his wife, Clair, of Presque Isle; three brothers, Guy Weaver and his wife, Bert, of Presque Isle, William Weaver and his wife, Lois, of Mapleton, Bernard “Bud” Weaver of Presque Isle; three sisters, Madeline Winsor and her husband, Richard, of Presque Isle, Lois Burtt and her husband, Eugene, of Rockland, Lucy Perkins and her fiance, Douglas Stevens, of Ashland; two granddaughters, Ronda Pearley and her husband, Leon and their family, Rene Pocock and her husband, Michael and their family; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three children, Philip Carmichael, Helen Hallett, David Carmichael; two sisters, Priscilla Perkins and Helen Maynard. There will be no services.
