HAMPDEN – Pauline Beatrice (Damon) Fearon, 73, wife of the late, David E. Fearon, passed away peacefully March 20, 2005, surrounded by her family at her home in Hampden. She was born Aug. 8, 1931, in Brewer, the daughter of Frank and Rena (White) Damon. Pauline had lived most of her life in Hampden, and was a 50 year member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Brewer. Polly enjoyed playing her accordion, camping, bird watching and her beloved cat, “Poppy”. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Reynolds and her husband, Robert, of Bangor; three grandchildren, Bobby and Renee Reynolds and Matthew David Fearon, all of Bangor, nieces, nephews; and she will be dearly missed by Cathy Gallant, Dorothy Damon and Greg and Sue Fearon. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, David on April 27, 2004; by her son, Roger Fearon on April 7, 2001; by her parents, a sister, Grace Violette; and four brothers, Max, Paul, Calvin and Cecil Damon. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Avenue, Hampden, with the Rev. Roger W. Davis, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church of Brewer officiating. Private interment will be at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
