PERRY – Pauline C. Martin, 85, passed away Sept. 19, 2004, at her home in Perry. She was born April 8, 1919, in Robbinston, the daughter of Earl and Beatrice (Seidell) Ferson. She enjoyed attending Meals For Me at the Eastport Senior Citizens Center. When Pauline’s daughter was in Iraq, she was involved in organizing having personal items sent to troops in Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Martin. She is survived by a son, Gary Nixon and his wife, Joyce, of Perry; two daughters, Susan Autrum and her husband, Karl, of North Carolina, Capt. Kathy Martin and her husband, Fred Brecht of North Carolina; a special granddaughter, Tawnya Evans; and a very special great-granddaughter, Lexis; two nieces, cousin, Anna; special friends, Ann, Frances, Cynthia, Jeanette, Mary Ann; and her special pet, a Maine Coon cat, Tom. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at the Flagg Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at the North Perry United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Sheldon Keezer officiating. Interment will be in Restlawn Cemetery, Perry.
