MILLINOCKET and MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. – Pauline Ethel Myshrall Lyle, 87, wife of the late Wilmer L. Lyle, died peacefully Jan. 8, 2006, at Charlotte Health Care Facility in North Carolina. She was born Aug. 22, 1918, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Paul and Victoria (Brewer) Myshrall. She was a beloved wife of 62 years, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved to sing, cook, crochet, embroider, fish, travel, and spend time with her family and grandchildren. She was a soldier of The Salvation Army in the Augusta Corp, and a Silver Star Mother. She is survived by three sons, Edward Lyle and wife, Shirley, of Mount Holly, N.C., Robert Lyle and wife, Martha, of Millinocket, Wayne Lyle and wife, Elizabeth, of Millinocket; three daughters, Lilia Miller and husband, Richard, of Houlton, Beatrice Morgan and friend, Christopher, of Augusta, Donna Cyr and husband, Ernie, of Medway; a daughter-in-law, Catherine Lyle of Lebanon, 23 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Wilmer L. Lyle; a son, LeRoy T. Lyle; a son-in-law, Keith Morgan; three sisters, Alberta Haggerty, Amelia Smith and Louise Myshrall. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12 and Friday, Jan. 13, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service 11 a.m. at R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket with Major Arthur Barter officiating.
