HOULTON – Pauline E. Porter, 95, died April 30, 2007, at her residence. She was born April 24, 1912, in Robinson, the daughter of Otis G. and Sadie E. (Terrill) Gallop. Pauline was a member of the First Baptist Church, the True Blue Circle and the American Baptist Women. She is survived by her son, Leonard Porter and his wife, Pat, of Presque Isle; her daughter, Carlene E. Caldwell of Bangor; one sister-in-law, Alma Gallop; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; two brothers, Vaughn and LeForest Gallop; and a sister, Helen Henderson. Friends may call noon Thursday until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Arthur Myers officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
