STEUBEN – Pauline Elizabeth (Richardson) Robinson, 92, died Aug. 12, 2005, at Narraguagus Bay Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 17, 1912, in Aurora, the daughter of the late Merle and Addie Richardson. Pauline was a member of the Milbridge Grange No. 291, the Eastern Star, and the Cherryfield American Legion. For several years, she served as an answering service for Kelley Funeral Home. She also knitted bait bags for the local lobsterman. Pauline’s house was always open to the neighborhood children as she was a “mother” to everyone. She will never be forgotten for being a devoted and loving mother, sister, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by a special sister, Gladyce Richardson, who has taken care of her for many years during her illness; special friend, Velma Groves; one daughter, Addie Dyer and her husband, Paul, of Gouldsboro; four sons, Paul Robinson and his wife, Jane, Eugene Robinson and his wife, Sheila, Thomas Robinson, Sr. and his wife, Evelyn, all of Steuben, and Donald Robinson and his wife, Luann, of Gouldsboro; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and two special roommates, Evelyn Yeaton and Mary Look. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Robinson Sr.; two sons, Charles A. Robinson, Jr. and Fred “Sam” Robinson; one daughter, Rebecca Ann Lowell and her husband, Bradley Lowell Sr.; three grandchildren, Kathy Dyer, Thomas Robinson, Jr., and Joy Ellen Look; one brother, Woodrow; and two sisters, Hazel and Leola. Visiting hours will take place 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Milbridge, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, officiated by Charles Kelley. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Milbridge. Friends and family are invited to Eugene Robinson’s home after the service for refreshments.
