DOVER PLAINS, N.Y. – Pauline Gagnon, 77, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeespie, N.Y. She was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Winterville, the daughter of Cecile (Marquis) and Alphie Godin, who predeceased her. Pauline was educated in Maine public schools. Pauline married Roland L. Gagnon, May 12, 1958, in Fort Fairfield. She was a self-employed child care provider and had lived in Dover Plains, N.Y., for the past 45 years. Pauline was a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Church, Dover Plains, N.Y. In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Roland, July 16, 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Marie Connor and her husband, Donald, of Dover Plains, N.Y.; grandchildren, Christopher Gagnon, Jordan and Cody Connor, all of Dover Plains, N.Y.; great-grandchild, Alexis Gagnon of Dover Plains, N.Y.; sisters, Bertha Mahaney of Presque Isle, Rita Gagnon of Fort Fairfield and Loretta Lopez of Torrance, Calif. A funeral service for Pauline will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Mill Street, Dover Plains, N.Y., with visiting hours to be held 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, at the church. Interment will be held after the service at St. Charles Cemetery, Dover Plains, N.Y. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Church, Mill Street, Dover Plains, N.Y. 12522.
