MACHIAS – Percy C. Armstrong, 84, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at Marshall Health Care, Machias. He was born June 15, 1923, in Machiasport, the son of the late Roy and Carrie (Libby) Armstrong. Mr. Armstrong spent most of his working career in Connecticut, retiring to Machias. He shared 39 years of marriage with the late Mildred (Worrell) Armstrong who died in 1986. Family members include a daughter, Priscilla Aabye and husband, Norman, of Saegertown, Pa.; a brother, Alan Armstrong and wife, Joyce, of West Haven, Conn.; two stepdaughters, Judy Feuerbacher of Oregon, and Jacqueline Horesco and husband, Joseph, of Derby, Conn.; many grandchildren and great-grand-children; two sisters, Alice Polley of Machias and Elsie Johnson; a brother, Harvey Armstrong of Portland; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Warren P. Armstrong; and two brothers, Warren and Albert Armstrong. Graveside services will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Church Hill Cemetery, Machiasport.
