WILLOW STREET, Pa. – Peter J. MacPherson, 90, of Willow Valley Lakes Manor, Willow Street, Pa., died July 14, 2006. Peter was the husband of Ruth Bickford MacPherson. He was born in Isle of Skye, Scotland. They retired to Northport, before moving to Willow Valley Retirement Community, Pennsylvania. Peter was a master mariner, working as a marine surveyor in the New York area. He enjoyed playing and teaching the bagpipes. Surviving besides his wife is a daughter, Laurie, wife of Anthony Forfare; and a granddaughter, Alexandra of Lawrenceville, N.J. Arrangements by Bachman Funeral Home, Strasburg, Pa.
