SHERMAN and MACWAHOC – Petricia M. Whittier, 54, died Sept. 18, 2005, at a Millinocket hospital. She was born Nov. 3, 1950, in Louisville, Ky., the daughter of Easter Lee and Sarah (Hadden) Knight. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years, and was a unit secretary at Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln for a while. She is survived by her mother, Sarah Knight; her grandmother, Ruby Knight; and three brothers, Randel Knight, Perry Knight and Troy Knight, all of Kentucky; her former husband, Terry Whittier of Macwahoc; her daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Vernon Lane; and two grandchildren, Caleb Whittier and Shelby Lane, all of Sherman; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
