OCALA, Fla. – Philip John Heim, 81, passed away Aug. 17, 2006, in Ocala, Fla. He was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and moved to Ocala, Fla., in 2003, from Talmadge. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala, Fla. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He participated in the Okinawa invasion in the Pacific theater. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sabina C. (Farley) of Ocala, Fla.; sons, Philip “Rod” and wife, Jean Heim, of Derby, Kan., Joseph “Randy” Heim of Ocala, Fla.; daughter, S. Cecilia Plonski of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, Walter and James Heim; sisters, Mary Heim and Madelon Hedus, all of Talmadge. Roberts Funeral Homes Bruce Chapel West, Ocala, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.
