NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. Phyllis A. (Anderson) Ayotte, 82, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla. died Aug. 15, 2004 on Cape Cod. Phyllis grew up and lived many years throughout Maine and on Cape Cod and Florida in retirement. She graduated from Houlton High School and Houlton Business College. She was a loving wife and mother, an avid golfer and loved to play bridge. She was active in her church’s Steven’s Ministry and was always their to support her family, friends and neighbors. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Ayotte; mother of Paul J. Ayotte II of South Dennis, Mass., Jan R. Stankiewicz of Carisbad, Calif., and Daniel L. Ayotte of Sharpsbury, Ga.; sister of Lloyd Anderson of Bangor; also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grand-children and a dear friend, Ralph Hodgdon. Visitation will begin 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at Morris Funeral Home, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth, Mass., with a service being held at 11 a.m. She will rest with her spouse at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. A memorial service will be held at a later date in New Smyrna Beach, Fla.
