MILFORD – Phyllis H. Doucette, 71, died Nov. 11, 2003, at a Bangor health care facility after a long illness. She was born Nov. 23, 1931, in Milford, a daughter of Hilbert and Matilda (Grant) Anderson. She was employed by the Old Town hot lunch program for over 25 years. She was a devoted member of the Milford Congregational Church. She is survived by three daughters, Pearl Pizzedaz of Ohio, Jeannette Morton of Conn., Sharon Watts of Ark.; four sisters, Annie Richards, Edna Bryant, Betty Anderson, and Paulette McLaughlin, all of Milford; two brothers, Fay Anderson of Bradley and Durwood Anderson of Old Town; a special niece, Terry Dutkiewicz of Conn.; special brother-in-law, Gary McLaughlin of Milford; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Walter Doucette in 1993; two brothers, Hilbert Anderson Jr., and Clyde Anderson; two sisters, Grace Cote and Shirley Labree. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St., Old Town. A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday at the Milford Congregational Church, Milford, with the Rev. Harold Grove, officiating. Interment will follow at Milford Cemetery.
