PRESQUE ISLE – Phyllis M. Giggie, 86, died Jan. 19, 2007, at a Presque Isle health care facility. She was born Aug. 25, 1920, in Limestone, the daughter of Elbridge and Hannah (Doody) Giggie. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Presque Isle, a member of the Red Hat Society and loved playing bingo. She is survived by two sisters, Althea Walker and her husband, Bill, of California and Elida Reed of York; a special aunt, Nora Wilder of Presque Isle; a sister-in-law, Marjorie Giggie of Caribou; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Zella Giggie and Leila Fern Giggie; two brothers, Colie Giggie and Ralph Wayne Giggie; and a special brother-in-law, Elvis Reed. A special thanks to Herman Doody and Carol White of Washburn for the loving care and support they gave her. Funeral services will be announced in May at which time flowers will be gratefully accepted. Arrangements in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
