ANSON – Priscilla (Duley) Plummer, 83, died Monday Jan. 24, 2005, at the Redington-Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan. She was born Aug. 5, 1921, in Starks, the daughter of William Henry and Flora Duley. Priscilla was educated in Anson schools. She moved to the Bangor area where she worked for Walley Novelties (owned by her stepfather Harry Walley), also for W.T. Grants and retired from Eastern Maine General Hospital, where she worked for many years. She moved back to Anson about 15 years ago. She enjoyed knitting, working jigsaw puzzles and was a very talented seamstress. Her husband, William Plummer; and three brothers, William H., Richard E. and Harold W. Duley, predeceased her. She is survived by three sisters, Florence Christopher of Texas, Ruth McCaughey and her husband, Nathaniel, of Massachusetts, and Maxine Stanley of Anson; many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends and relatives may call anytime at their convenience at her home at 17 Finch St., in Anson. A graveside service will be held later in the spring at the Locke Cemetery in Starks, the date and time will be announced. Arrangements are by Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple St., Madison.
