STEUBEN – Priscilla M. Call, 51, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, Ellsworth. She was born Aug. 1, 1956, in Portland, the daughter of the late David and Sybil (Fickett) Sampson. She moved to Steuben at an early age and attended school until a surprise came along, the birth of her first son, Daniel L. Sampson, March 3, 1973. Two other boys were born: Robert Call Jr. in 1975 and Christopher Call in 1977. She was married to Robert Penwood Call and they all moved to Harrington, and started a clam shop. Priscilla helped Robert operate the Clam Shop and also was a homemaker at heart, tended to the upbringing of their children. She also enjoyed cooking and playing tricks on the boys as they were growing up, and sitting down in the afternoon with soaps and tending to her French Lopped Rabbit that she loved so much. She had many people who loved her, including her stepfather, Cecil Call; her better half, Steve Betters; and sisters, Karen Hall and Sheryl Hall. She also had two beautiful grandchildren, Shyra and Austin Call; and a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Grant. She had more friends than any one of us can count on our hands and feet. The family will be announcing a service at a later date. For more information, please contact her son, Daniel Sampson. A service of Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, Milbridge. www.bragdonkelley.com
